Youth Passes and Saver passes

The best options for Youths

What is a Youth pass?

Youth passes are special prices for people under 26 years old. It is most of the time referred as a “Student pass”, but it is not whatsoever linked to a “student” status but to age.

To be able to use a Youth Rail Pass the traveler must be under the age of 26 at the activation date (the first date you will use your rail pass). If by any reason you are 26 years old before the activation you will not be able to use this pass.
If you turn 26 after the activation you will be able to use it normally.

Saver passes could be combined with Youth passes when those are available for your desired rail pass, for example, you would be able to purchase 1 Saver pass + 1 Youth pass. In any other situations, (multiple rail passes being purchase by several people), they must all be Saver passes.

Another important detail is: When requesting a saver pass, let’s say for 5 people, you must request them all in the same order. It is not possible to split the order and let each person purchase a single rail pass and book them together after that. The booking must be made on the same order number. This means, all 5 rail passes must be requested on the same order request online.
